1. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is only confirmed once agreed in writing.
Provisional bookings will not be held without confirmation.
2. Payment
Full payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Late payments may incur interest charges in line with statutory rates.
3. Cancellation & Postponement
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the shoot date will not be charged.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the shoot date will be charged at 100% of the agreed fee.
Postponements will be treated as cancellations unless a new date is agreed and confirmed.
4. Client Responsibilities
The client must ensure that all food, products, props, and locations are prepared and ready at the agreed shoot time.
Any delays caused by the client may result in additional charges.
The client is responsible for arranging any necessary permissions for photography at the chosen location(s).
5. Photographer Responsibilities
The photographer will deliver the agreed services in a professional manner and provide edited final images within the timeframe discussed.
While every effort will be made to capture the agreed brief, the creative approach remains at the discretion of the photographer.
6. Usage & Copyright
All images remain the copyright of the photographer.
The client is granted a licence to use the images for the purposes agreed in writing (e.g., marketing, website, social media, advertising).
Any additional use (e.g., resale, third-party use, extended campaigns) must be agreed and may incur additional fees.
The photographer retains the right to use the images for self-promotion (website, portfolio, social media, competitions) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Delivery of Images
Images will be supplied digitally in [JPEG/TIFF/other format] via online gallery, file transfer, or other agreed method.
Raw/unedited files are not supplied under any circumstances.
8. Liability
In the unlikely event of equipment failure, illness, or circumstances beyond control, the photographer’s liability is limited to a reshoot or a full refund of any fees paid.
The photographer is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the images.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
